'Cats Rally to Beat Notre Dame, 4-3

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Northwestern's Clarissa Hand and Hannah McColgan rallied for three-set wins in singles play to give the Wildcats the edge and the win, 4-3, over Notre Dame on Friday night. The Wildcats claimed a the doubles point to open the evening thanks to wins by Briana Crowley/McColgan and Clarissa and Christina Hand. Inci Ogut pick up NU's only straight set singles win.
The Wildcats move to 2-3 on the campaign and welcome Georgia Tech and UIC to the Combe Tennis Center on Sunday, Feb. 16.
