LUBBOCK, Texas – Northwestern was right in the thick of three unfinished singles matches, but No. 28 Texas Tech gained the upper hand in the rest of the match, claiming a 4-0 victory Wednesday night.

Juniors Ben Vandixhorn (No. 4) and Jason Seidman (No. 5) and sophomore Chris Ephron (No. 6) were all tied in their respective sets when the match concluded on the rest of the courts. Vandixhorn and Ephron were each locked in third sets, while Seidman was working on a 4-4 tie in the second set after taking the first.

The Red Raiders won in order on courts 1, 2, and 3 in straight sets.

Texas Tech took a tightly contested doubles point, pulling out a 7-6 (2) win at the No. 1 spot to claim the first point of the match. That followed a Red Raider win at No. 2 and a dominant 6-1 win by Antonioni Fasano and Chris Ephron at No. 3.

Chicago's Big Ten Team remains on the road when it gets back to Big Ten play with matches at Nebraska (March 30) and Iowa (April 1) this weekend.
