LEXINGTON, Ky. —
Northwestern defeated Southern Illinois, but fell to No. 18 Kentucky and No. 20 Missouri in a two-day quad meet action this weekend.

The Wildcats topped Southern Illinois by a score of 265 – 101. Kentucky scored 274 to Northwestern's 98, while Missouri topped the 'Cats, 273.50-99.50.

Senior Jordan Wilimovsky continued his dominance in the distance events by sweeping the 500 free and 1,000 free. Wilimovsky took first in the 500 with a season-best time of 4:23.73 before finishing the 1,000 free competition in 9:04.81. His time in the 1,000 free was over 10 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.

Northwestern received another first place finish in the 3-meter diving event when Andrew Cramer won with a score of 379.60. Cramer's score was a season best and just shy of the Northwestern school record of 381.60, which he owns.

The meet, which took place on Friday evening and Saturday morning, got underway with the 200 free relay. Northwestern's quartet of Almog Olshtein, Gage Kohner, Ryan Tate and Alex Snarski tied for third with a Missouri team at 1:23.39, which is the fastest that NU has finished the event all season.

Will Hofstadter turned in a Northwestern season-best performance in the 100 breast when he touched the wall at 57.10. Hofstadter placed fifth in the event.

Olshtein also had a pair of season-bests in the 50 and 100 free events with a time of 20.94 and 46.02, respectively.

As a team Northwestern will be off until it hosts the TYR Invite on Nov. 18-20, but Olshtein and Wilimovsky will be in action next weekend for the College Challenge that pits members of USA Swimming against current Big Ten swimmers.
