Northwestern vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee
The Northwestern University men's soccer team suffered its second defeat of the season, falling to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 5-1, at Lakeside Field in Evanston. Doug Gibson came off the bench to score the `Cats lone goal, as he headed in a corner kick from David DeHorn.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee scored two goals in the first 12 minutes and never looked back. The Panthers took a 3-1 halftime lead, scoring with just five seconds left in the first half. Bobby Lish scored two goals for the Panthers as they evened their record at 1-1.
The loss drops Northwestern to 0-2 on the season.
