
Men's Swimming Downs Michigan State

EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern men?s swimming and diving team (3-2, 2-2 Big Ten) won its second consecutive Big Ten meet, downing Michigan State, 129-112, today at the Norris Aquatics Center.
Senior Steve Harms (Maumee, Ohio) was victorious in his two individual events, taking the 200-meter individual medley in 2:07.47 and the 400 freestyle in 3:58.39. Harms also joined Nick Barnes (Frankfort, Ind.), Adam Conway (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Steve Steketee (Golden, Colo.) on the winning 400 freestyle relay team that clinched the win for the Wildcats.
Steketee also won the 100 free in a time of 50.90. Other Wildcat winners included Kellan O?Connor (Phoenix, Ariz.) in the 200 butterfly (2:03.78), Chris Meyer (Aurora, Ill.) in the 200 breaststroke (2:22.51) and Elliot Massuda (Valparaiso, Ind.) in the 1-meter diving (295.80).
Northwestern returns to action on Jan. 28 at Ohio State.
