Tamaria Hibbler joined Northwestern in August 2026. She is responsible for collaborating and managing the health care of the Northwestern football.Â
Tamaria is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a degree in Kinesiology: Athletic Training. As a graduate assistant at Michigan State University, she earned her master’s degree in athletic training, while teaching in the Kinesiology department and covering women’s field hockey and women’s soccer. She also concluded her athletic training studies by obtaining her PhD in athletic training from Michigan State University. Her training includes working as a staff athletic trainer at Michigan State University and the University of Arkansas where she was also utilized as an instructor to certify students and staff by the American Red Cross. Tamaria is also serving a second term as a CAATE DEIA & L committee member.
Her hobbies include traveling, soccer, pilates, and yoga.
Her professional interests include emergency care, osteopathic manual medicine, muscle energy, concussion care, and concussion research
Tamaria is originally from Louisiana and lives in the greater Chicago area with her husband Ej and their cat Shadow.
