Knai Posts Late Surge to Close Out Mason Rudolph Championship
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Junior Emilie Knai made a late charge up the leaderboard to close out the Mason Rudolph Championship in a share of 11th, as the Northwestern women’s golf team finished the event in ninth.
The Wildcats opened with a score of 285 before firing a combined round of 298 in their second round. The final round saw them card a score of 292, giving the ‘Cats a 54-hole score of 875 (285-298-292). Mississippi State won the team title with a score of 850 (284-279-287) while Florida’s Paula Francisco claimed medalist honors at 6 under.
After opening with rounds of 72 and 75, Knai began her final round with nine straight pars before carding five birdies in her final six holes to finish with a 4-under 67. The junior from Boulogne-Billancourt, France, climbed the leaderboard to 11th, pacing the ‘Cats with the lowest round of the week.

Ann-Sophie Bourgault placed in a share of 30th on the individual leaderboard, with the first-year carding a 2-under 69 in her opening round. Megan Meng placed in a share of 39th alongside Lauren E. Lee, who fired a 1-under 70 in her second round as an individual. Ashley Yun finished one shot behind the pair in 44th, carding a 2-under 69 in her first round, while Rebecca Wang rounded out the lineup in 81st.
