Rocky and Berenice Miller Park completed its nearly two-year long renovation in 2015, improving both the student-athlete and fan experience at the ballpark.
The extensive renovation features Hayden Clubhouse, which holds the beautiful new team locker room, and the Mogentale Players' Lounge — a premium hospitality space and area for baseball student-athletes to gather and bond. The locker room and lounge comprise a clubhouse nearly 6,000 square feet in size, which also houses a coaches’ locker room, athletic training room and other space for team-related activities.
Koldyke Field provides a synthetic turf surface maximizing practice opportunities and minimizing game delays and cancellations due to inclement weather. Sidney and Mildred LaPidus Dugout was expanded by 17 feet and renovated to now include heaters. An expanded batter’s eye, a new backstop and spectator safety net were added alongside the extended dugouts and new turf field as well.
The upgrades also include a new press box spanning 2,300 square feet and designated spaces for all forms of media, including television and radio broadcasts, print media members and a control room.
Upgraded fan amenities are featured throughout the ballpark, including new chairback seating, concessions, restrooms and an LED scoreboard. Two separate structures, one featuring a concession stand and men’s restroom that will cover 1,000 square feet, and the other providing a ticket booth and women’s restroom that will cover an additional 1,100 square feet, were constructed to enhance the fan experience.
